Self-Service: Mobile Check-In & My Payslips

These pages are designed for Employee-role users. They give your team self-service access to attendance tracking and payslip viewing without needing to contact HR.

Mobile Check-In

The Mobile Check-In page (/a/mobile_checkin) provides a one-tap interface for daily attendance. Employees open it on their phone browser — no app installation is needed.

Features

  • Large Check In / Check Out button
  • Captures current GPS location (if the browser allows)
  • Shows the last 30 days of punch history in a table: Date, Check-In Time, Check-Out Time, Location, Duration
  • Works on mobile browsers — no native app required

How Employees Use Mobile Check-In

1

Open the app on your phone browser.

2

Tap Check In when you arrive at work. The system records the time and your GPS coordinates.

3

At the end of the day, tap Check Out.

4

HR can review all check-ins under Attendance > Check-In Log.

Note: Mobile Check-In is only available to Employee-role users. Admin and Owner accounts will see an "Employee Profile Not Found" message — this is expected since admin accounts are not employee records.

Initial Setup Checklist

Complete these steps before you start adding employees or running payroll:

1

Go to Settings > Company Profile.

2

Fill in your Business Name and PAN.

3

Add your GSTIN if your company is GST-registered.

4

Enter your EPF Registration Code — you can find this on your EPFO establishment ID.

5

Enter your ESIC Code if applicable (required if you have 10+ employees, or as per state-specific rules).

6

Add your TAN — this is required for TDS filing.

7

Select your State of Operation. This determines which Professional Tax slabs are applied to your employees.

8

Click Save.

Important: Complete the Company Profile before running your first payroll. PF and ESI calculations depend on the EPF and ESIC codes being set correctly.
Tip Add at least one HR-role admin user so that the Owner doesn't need to handle day-to-day approvals like leave requests and reimbursements.
