Report sections

Below the KPIs, five pre-built report sections give you deeper insight into each area:

Report sectionWhat it shows
Sales (Last 6 Months) A month-by-month revenue bar chart showing confirmed and shipped order values over the trailing 6 months. Useful for spotting seasonal trends and comparing pipeline to closed revenue.
Work Orders by Status A breakdown of all Work Orders by current status — Planned, Released, In Production, Completed, Closed. Shows how many jobs are at each stage right now.
Top 10 Products by Sales Volume The ten best-selling products by quantity (or value) sold across all Sales Orders. Helps prioritise which products to stock and which BOMs to keep optimised.
Spend by Vendor Total purchase order value allocated to each supplier. Helps identify your largest vendors and concentration risk.
Cash Flow Projection An estimated inflow/outflow view based on open invoices (incoming) and open purchase orders (outgoing). Shows the projected cash position over the coming weeks.

Sales Orders Register

The Sales Orders Register below the charts lists every SO with its SO Number, Customer, Amount, Status, and Date. Use it for quick lookups without navigating to the Sales Orders module. Click any row to jump directly to that order.

Exporting data

Click Export CSV (top right) to download the Sales Orders Register as a spreadsheet. The export includes all columns visible in the table — useful for sharing with your accountant or importing into external tools.

Live data All KPIs and charts update in real time as orders are created, work orders are completed, and invoices are settled. There is no "refresh" button — the page always shows the current state of the business.

Product Groups /a/product_groups

Maps each product category to the correct QuickBooks Online accounts so that revenue, inventory, and cost of goods sold post to the right ledger lines automatically when you sync invoices and POs.

Product Groups table

Product Groups page showing a table with columns: Name, Track Inv, SOS Type, Income Acct, Asset Acct, COGS Acct, and Actions — listing groups such as Finished Goods, Manufacturing Consumables, Outside Services, and others
Product Groups — each row maps a product category to its QBO account lines. Edit any row to change the account mapping.
ColumnWhat it controls
Name The product group label (e.g. Finished Goods, Manufacturing Consumables, Spare Parts). Assigned to each product in Products & BOM.
Track Inv Yes/No — whether QBO should track inventory quantity for this group. Set to Yes for physical goods; No for services or expenses.
SOS Type The QuickBooks item type: Inventory (tracked stock), Expense (non-stock consumable), or Assembly (built item).
Income Acct The QBO income account where sales revenue posts (e.g. Product Sales).
Asset Acct The QBO asset account where inventory value is held (e.g. Inventory Asset). Blank for Expense-type groups.
COGS Acct The QBO cost of goods sold account (e.g. Cost of Goods Sold).

Default product groups

Manufacturing ERP ships with the following groups pre-configured. Each maps to the standard QBO chart of accounts:

Adding a product group

1

Click + Add Group (top right). A new row opens in the table.

2

Enter the group Name, set Track Inv, choose the SOS Type, and select the Income, Asset (if applicable), and COGS accounts.

3

Save the row. The new group is immediately available in the Product Group dropdown when adding products in Products & BOM.

QBO account names must match exactly The Income, Asset, and COGS account names you enter here must match your QBO chart of accounts exactly — including capitalisation. A mismatch causes sync errors when pushing invoices or purchase orders.

Settings — User Management /a/settings

Control who has access to Manufacturing ERP and what they can do. Invite new team members by email, assign role-based permissions, manage pending invitations, and remove users who should no longer have access.

Inviting a new user

2

3

Click Send Invitation. The user receives an email with a signup link. Their address appears in the Pending Invitations table until they accept.

4

Once they accept, they move from Pending to Active Users and can log in to Manufacturing ERP with their assigned permissions.

Managing existing users

The Active Users table lists every user currently with access. For each user you can:

Pending invitation management If an invitation expires or the user's email changes, click Delete next to the entry in the Pending Invitations table and re-invite with the correct address.
First user is always Owner / Admin The account creator automatically has the Owner / Admin role and cannot be demoted or removed — at least one Owner must always exist. To transfer ownership, promote another user to Owner first.
