The operator's terminal. Once a Work Order is Released, it appears here so your team can start operations and log completion — the last production step before goods are ready to ship.

The Shop Floor Terminal

The terminal shows only Released and In Production work orders. Use the filter buttons at the top right to narrow the view:

Filter	What it shows
Show All	All Released and In Production WOs in one list.
Released	WOs approved for production that haven't been started yet. Show a blue Start Operation button.
In Production	WOs where work has begun. Show a green Log Completion button.

Not seeing your WO here? Only WOs in Released or In Production status appear on the Shop Floor. If a WO is still Pending or Planned, a manager must update its status to Released from the Work Orders module first.

Each WO card at a glance

Each card on the terminal shows:

WO # — the work order identifier (e.g. WO-09).
Status badge — Released (blue) or In Production (purple).
Items to build — product name, SKU, and quantity for each line item in the WO.
Action button — Start Operation for Released, Log Completion for In Production.

Starting an operation

Find the WO card in the Released queue.

Click Start Operation. The WO status changes from Released → In Production and the card moves to the In Production queue.

The linked Sales Order also reflects the In Production status on the Sales Orders board.

Logging completion

Once all items are built, find the WO card in the In Production queue.

Click Log Completion (the green button).

Two things happen automatically:

The WO status advances to Completed and disappears from the terminal.
The linked Sales Order moves from In Production → Ready to Ship on the Sales Orders board.

What happens next After Log Completion the goods are built and waiting. Head to Shipping to create a shipment — the SO will be waiting in the Ready to Ship queue.

Log Completion is irreversible Clicking Log Completion advances the WO to Completed immediately. If you need to reverse this (e.g. quality issue found after logging), a manager must manually update the WO status back from the Work Orders detail page.

Who should use the Shop Floor Terminal?

The terminal is designed for shop-floor operators — it shows only what they need (which jobs to work on and what to build) without exposing pricing, customer data, or admin settings. Operators don't need manager-level access; a standard team member account can start operations and log completion.

Production complete? Go to Shipping to dispatch the order, or check Quality Control if your process includes an inspection step before shipping.
